Houses in multiple occupation
Properties classified as a "House in Multiple Occupation" may require licensing. This is a requirement of the Housing Act 2004. We will be providing further information here soon, in the meanwhile, please contact us to discuss this.
Housing health & safety rating system
The same Act also introduced a new system for Local Authorities to assess housing conditions in England and Wales. It is the owner or landlord's responsibility to ensure that their property is in a suitable condition to let.
